Good police departments are hiring in Texas. Most are starting at $75-$80K in the academy with a 5-year top-out of over $100K.

That does limit you. A lot of b2b are going to require a degree even with a lot of sales experience and a proven record.

You could try and join the college football committee.

Also customers are bigger liars than the salespeople. If anyone disagrees think back to how you were shopping 2 dealerships against each other trying to find the best price.

And that’s why people hate car salespeople

Age and business or training background? Any tech type training? What do you know other than selling cars?

Yeah, it's probably 100% that, and not that car dealers have been arse-raping at MSRP++ for five years on, now. (And been worthless scumbags for much, much longer.)

I have a friend who works for an exotic dealer in NOVA
My late b-i-l was silent partner in an exotic dealership. He also was a physician and had a clinic. (Internal Medicine, not anything shady)

He said he’d have skipped Med School and just been an exotic dealer if he’d have known that job description was going to be a thing. It was lucrative and he enjoyed the fringe benefit of driving the stock.

Well, you’re gonna have to pass a drug test most likely. Better start thinking about that.

Take plant process technology at a community college. Get a job at an industrial facility and earn $35/hr and work alot of overtime. There’s no shortcut, unless you marry rich.

If you’re at a luxury dealership and good at selling you can easily make north $100k/yr.
to expound on this, camper sales were exploding during Covid.

My last year in the industry I did $140k in seven months.

Many times if a class A or class C motorhome was sold I or another salesman would GP $10k.

Btw, I hear Nucor Skyline - Mandeville office may be hiring for an inside salesman.

They sell steel piling to bridge contractors. H-pile, sheet pile, pipe pile, etc…

Fantastic company, pay and benefits

Plant operations...

Or safety. Use that salesmen talent to give safety presentations..

Industrial sales with people like John H Carter or Emerson.

Side note. I need to replace my wife's sienna. Since they are now hybrids I'm looking at a Grand Highlander.

Are they decent and how much am I dropping on one?
