Daniels shouldn’t play in a game like this.

Sucks for us fans but that’s just the way it is. Hell, Nuss didn’t play because he wanted to preserve his redshirt. Compare that to a high first round pick.

As an LSU fan I like it when LSU wins a football game. I actually like it a lot. Therefore, I would like for LSU to actually play the guy who give us the best chance to win. At this point, I think everyone on this board knows which of the two QB's in question meets that description.

I dont want JD to risk injury, but it sure would be fun to watch him play once more.

I want the Heisman winner to suit up one last time and play with his team mates and coaches who all gave him the opportunity to move out of obscurity in the Arizona desert and into the spotlight to showcase his skills and earn the chance at a all the fame that comes with a Heisman trophy and all the money that comes with a first round selection.

Nussmeir can try and win the job in the spring. One game isn’t going to make that much difference for him.

JD needs to play to continue to enhance his draft stock. While some mocks have him as QB3, others still have him as low as QB6. It's not cemented.

If he can (& will) play in the Senior Bowl, there's still the risk of injury, so to skip the bowl for an ever-present risk (in any football activity) rings hollow.

And GMs/scouts also want as much actual game footage as they can get, not just one additional week of all-star practices/scrimmages or combine measurables/drills, so a great last college performance in a bowl win would be highly beneficial towards securing a 1st rd grade/Top 15 prospect as QB3 or higher.

Nuss for the experience and a head start on 2024. Great game to break him in against a not so good defense on neutral field. Watching JD shred them for a half would get boring.

I would rather Nuss start unless JD wants to play. This game means nothing and I think we beat Wisky with Nuss at this point. Of course if JD wants to go, we just turn him loose and destroy them.

Daniels has a chance to throw for over 4000 and rush for over 1200 in a season. I don’t think those milestones have been met so he has a chance to be all time by playing probably just one half of football.

Impossible-

According to know it all ranters, players who are not returning next year will be opting out for fear of career ending injuries.

Daniels and not even close. The bowl game puts your program on display to the football world. Put your best foot forward for your fans, the recruits and the team. Nuss is next year. Daniels is now.

I agree with this but I would hate to see him get hurt in a meaningless bowl game. Give me Nuss to get momentum going into next year.

Watching arguably LSU's most exciting player in history play a P5 team would be boring.

This might be the saddest most ADHD thing I have ever read on here. Perhaps we could arrange LED lighting on the stripes of the helmet to help hold your interest?

Daniels, he's had an awesome year and I'd like to see him make a few more plays. Have him and Nabors break the receiving record together.

I wouldn't mind 1st half / 2nd half, but I also want our guys to win so whatever it takes for that.

This idea of nuss should start is just rude! Trolling or something wrong.
