To others: I have baled hay many years and all in shorts, too flipping hot for jeans. Water hose shower works good especially when I strip down. Have a few beers, drip dry and towel dry in the sun, it's all good. F jeans

Jeans are typically more durable than khaki slacks.
Baling hay isnt that rough on your legs. Go out in some thick woods, through thickets or briars. You'd definitely be wishing you had on jeans.
