Also, FYI cats tend to eat on their deceased owners after only a few days when left in same house unattended. Dogs won’t do that.

Yes they will.
I was the county coroner for a few years and baw up and died (natural causes) at his house and forgot to feed his dog.
Wasn’t found for a couple days- and when I examined the deceased baw, ole dog had eaten his twig and berries.

I would want my cat to eat me to stay alive...have you not seen that movie about the plane crash.
