I've been waiting for this ever since the rumors began that it would be made.
My great-uncle flew B-17's with the 549th Squadron, 385th Bomb Group out of Great Ashfield, England. He flew his 35 missions between May and October 1944, including two on D-Day. After World War II, he flew B-29, B-37, and B-52 bombers with SAC until he retired in 1965. After he retired, he never got on an airplane again because, he said, "If I'm not the pilot, then I'm not flying on it!" He passed away in 2009. He had some amazing stories from his career. I was very fortunate to have known him.

Kinda pisses me off how hard it is to become a pilot these days.
These men learned it in a few months but college wants to drag it out over 4 years.
