I’m glad we will be getting a better fan experience and I wish they upgrade the concession stands. I hope this will keep the fake fans from leaving after halftime and keep the stadium full.

Gonna be a lot of old men yelling at crowds in this thread.

I think both are long overdue and you have to keep up with what others are doing.

How would you suggest to upgrade the concession stands?

They are marketing to a different crowd. You could see it in BDS on Saturday. The crowd that buys tickets, especially the cheap seats next to the visiting sections in the upper levels is not your traditional SEC football crowd. With attendance dropping across the board, schools are marketing to different groups. Not a good thing. Saw more problems in one trip to BDS than I've seen 4 previous trips combined.

Sorty Charlie.
Without Daniels and without a complete overhaul on D, we won’t be getting a better fan experience.

I am an old man, 55. I am sort of indifferent on the LED lights. I guess it will be a nice addition, my main thing is the sound system. It has been lacking forever and was outdated when they put it in this is way over due

I’m not a huge advocate for the lights, BUT if we do get lights I hope we get black lights.
Black lights look purple and I think it’d be sick to see our white jerseys glow.

new sound system
To me this is a way bigger deal than the lights. Our sound system is absolute trash and I can't even understand Borne half the time.

"Why can't they get rid of the speakers and just let the BAND play?!"

Joking aside, this is a good move. The sound system was awful 10 years ago so I can only imagine what it sounds like now. The LED lights can put on a cool show.

As long as we use the technology to make it as difficult for the visiting team as possible. Visiting team called a timeout? Great, start the crimson light show and Dixie Land Delight and get it as loud as we can to prevent that team from even being to do any actual coaching during that timeout.

Is the traditional SEC football crowd the blue hairs in the sideline seats that all leave in the second quarter for bed time?

Not necessarily, but it's certainly not guys running around with shirt off yelling F you to literally every opposing fan that walks by. I've been a lot of SEC games in nearly every stadium in the conference. The behavior at BDS on Saturday was by far the worst I've ever seen.

There has been a slow trend of behavior getting more and more aggressive. Saturday seemed to take a huge leap.

ETA. It's not the blue hairs leaving. Look around at the North and South Endzone where a lot of your lifelong season ticket holders sit. Those folks stay. The ones leaving are the socialites who came to tailgate, get a selfie and then head home or go out. The other group are those that are sitting between the 20's in corporate tickets. They got them as a perk or marketing expense and don't mind ducking out early.

“Is the traditional SEC football crowd the blue hairs in the sideline seats that all leave in the second quarter for bed time?”

You must not be attending games this year..
Students and youngsters left before the half last game.. home side still full of blue hairs.

Heck there was a thread about some guy with first year season tickets giving up on rest of season and selling his tickets and y’all gave him upvotes..

This blue hair will still be at the home games after driving in from out of state and will be there after fourth quarter waving to the team..

Same with bball and other sports..
