This is fine - but Sierra doesn’t need to be in any lineups (I did love her opening on beam this year in the second 2/3 of the season once she worked out her nerves). However, Gnat needs to work on developing another lead off and not just using Sierra.

I like the idea of keeping Sierra leadoff on beam. Also, her value as a leader on the team cannot be undervalued. She is a "glue" person and to get her for another year plays a role in a possible repeat.

I agree with both of you on Sierra leading off on beam. I think we keep her in that spot for the first third of the season while the freshman are getting settled into the flow of the college gymnastics season but once March hits (at the latest) one of our younger girls who’s the most solid on beam (probably Chio or Lincoln) should take that spot so they can develop into the next team beam lead off well into post season and for the future

You live for the moment in sports not the next season when you are a championship contender. Sierra had a 9.95 in the most pressure packed moment of her career. When she stuck that landing and bounded off the floor you just knew in that moment the national championship was headed to Baton Rouge. Certainly if her performance slips and other pass her by then adjust the lineup but they better show they are woman enough to take her spot.
