Bryant goes for vault in the unlikely event that Arkhansas and Minnesota qualify so going with the team is not her ONLY path.

It’s a hard thing - almost all the other regionals lost their dangerous 3 seed. They have to bring it tomorrow because we all know scores flu at the end of the meet on floor (it also currently looks like the four seed at Cal will also be out - auburn, though there is still a rotation and a half to go)

That is almost completely unlikely to happen with how good Kentucky has been compared to Minnesota and Arkansas this year and the fact that Arkansas is the home team. Kentucky also has a higher score ceiling than both those 2 teams so (Minnesota especially) and even with an off day are more likely to advance over the #4 seed in our regional

This is tonight's rotation order. Arkansas gets the Olympic Rotation. You are correct ELT29!

Just heard on the Ann Arbor regional that ok didn’t even celebrate after the win Thursday. What the actual f$ck? Like they’re some kind of soulless robots. Who would want to be on that kind of team that can’t even be happy after a win in post season.

Anywho, as long as we don’t count a fall we “should” be fine today.

Tonight was the big test and they passed with flying colors. Started off on beam, passed the test. Face adversity on rotation 4 with an immediate fall. Passed the test.

Semis will be much easier than the meet they just completed. It is likely to be LSU, Cal, Denver, and Arkansas. LSU & Cal should take it easily. Arkansas won't have home scoring to save them and Denver doesn't scare me at all.

If LSU is just normal, there is nothing Arkansas or Denver can do to threaten LSU.
Just be normal and the Final Four is theirs for the taking

I am finally watching the fourth rotation (had to go somewhere during the 4th rotation earlier) that fall on bars for Alexis was super weird - I wonder if she is experiencing the “twisties” as a result of the vertigo they mentioned in the broadcast.

Savannah’s wasn’t as bad as I feared - she has done that a time or two before and always caught it.

In the heat of the moment, it was very nerve wracking since we HAD to hit. But yes she totally had it covered. So proud of the girls!

I found the rotation for the championships on social media assuming it is correct. If not, please advise.

Semi final Session 1 and 2

Vault - NQS 1

Bars - NQS 4

Beam - NQS 3

Floor - NQS 2

For the final four, it is not based on NQS but on finishing in the semis:

Vault - Semifinal II, Team 1

Bars - Semifinal II, Team 2

Beam - Semifinal I, Team 2

Floor - Semifinal I, Team 1

Ark/LSU will be the afternoon session. The evening session always goes to the semi with the highest ranked team by NQS, so OU and their semi will get the evening session.
.
ETA: For clarity: Semifinal I is the afternoon (3.30pm) semi, semifinal II is the evening (8 p.m.) semi final.

Oh goodness…the fix will be in for OK if they get Olympic order in the final (which is what it would be here with 95% likelihood)

am worried about Sav it looked like she hurt her shoulder on bars fighting to save that handstand and not give it up.
If that was her last piece of gym god forbid, she went out a warrior. Say she doesn't finish that routine and we had to count Alexis' fall? We would have been eliminated by .025 and the season is over.

Because they understand the job isn’t done. OU is always laser focused and it obviously translates to success. Why do excessive celebrating when the job isn’t done yet?

Because every other team understands that getting there and moving on is not a given and should be celebrated.

I wonder who will fill in for sav and Alexis if hurt and vertigo is still bothering her. We could start Aleah in bars put Tori/livvy in 2nd and move the rest down. Not sure about beam. I guess Livvy. I actually liked us starting on beam. Gets it out of the way and the girls loosen up. Plus after our floor yesterday no one could quite get the same fx scores as us because we are just that good on floor.

Hopefully if Sav has any type of injury it’s minor and she can rest it for a week. We need her on bars for sure.

The judges in the Gainesville regional should all be fired and I hope they don’t go to nationals.

There is more of a chance Florida finishes 4th in their semi final than there is of them advancing to the final four.

They simply can't compete outside of Gainesville this year.

I’m not worried about Florida per se but that judging was out right terrible and biased towards getting Utah to nationals.

I'm not worried about either Florida or Utah.
I don't think the judges really had to try that hard to push Utah through. Mizzou were poor on balance beam + their rotation order hurt them the most today.

The judging for Florida was a laugh. Impossible scores. No matter, they are gonna hit the wall at Nationals they won't have home scoring to pump them up.
