For people who been, how nice is it? and where would you rank it among loudest stadiums in SEC?

I've been once, that was for the 2011 game. I thought the stadium was nice. It's loud, and big. That game was so intense. It just had a different feel than Tiger Stadium. But it was definitely one I'd like to go back to at some point.

A lot of incest. A lot of domestic violence. New LED lights in stadium. Tons of racism. Good nachos.

Been there many times. The Pom Pom stuff is pretty obnoxious. When they play sweet home Alabama it is very cool

It is nothing special as far as the look and design. The under areas of the stadium are clean but nothing fancy, extra special, or over the top. As far as in game atmosphere it is nowhere near Tiger Stadium. Ole Miss was way more intense and energetic, crowd noise etc. The big gimic is that they play piped in music so loud that you could hear it from space. Totally blows your ear drums out. As far as fan/crowd noise it does not come close to Tiger Stadium. But, not a bad place to go watch a game. Fans were not bad to deal with.

Because the thread is about BDS, I consider myself an informed Tiger Fan about Alabama...having a kid attend there makes me a better source than the casual LSU fan who just hates Bama because it's Bama...

I get all that and have no problem with it.

Just that saying your daughter is a collegiate cheerleader on here likely means that people are just gonna be asking you for pics

Not a bad experience. Seats are really roomy compared to some places I’ve been and I think they all have some type of backs on all of them. Concession selections are just okay. Tailgating is sort of strange. They have tents set up all of the place with people selling things. A good experience but not life altering.

I know I know, they throw money at students to go there. My youngest son had 4 close friends from CHS go to Bama because they had full rides, BUT NO SON OF MINE WOULD EVER CONSIDER GOING TO BAMA.

you'd be surprised how many out of state students pay the full 48k to attend there...

In part, I think it's how they fund all their construction projects...

Holy shite, I went to look up their out of state tuition and it was less than 10k in 2003! I think it was the same for LSU when I arrived in 2004. College tuition is out of control. That’s absolute insanity for a run of the mill degree.

It's exactly 10,000 per semester for out of state, tax, I mean tuition. In other words, students from Alabama pay 20,000 less per year than out of state students for the same exact experience and education! This is pretty much true no matter the public school. If you cross state lines, it's a 20k tax per year!

it's unfair...I don't think college is all that bad if you take that off the table, what makes college expensive are the living expenses... Tuition is still like 6k a semester, that's not bad at all.

I am not even going to say what Universities give cheerleaders per semester but it's essentially zip...

Cheerleaders have specific workouts that are monitored, they practice 4-6 days a week depending, they put on that uniform a lot for a lot of events...they have to make their grades, they have strict rules to make sure they never embarrass the university... it's a job when you get right down to it...representing the brand

Most cheerleaders love it, don't get me wrong but they absolutely deserve money towards paying for their education given how much they give of their time to the university...Did I mention the injuries that Cheerleaders suffer? I've seen plenty of ACL's,broken fingers, ankle injuries, achilles that require surgery.

Why no or small amount scholarships?
In part because the NCAA has not officially endorsed Cheer as a sport... though they do compete against other SEC schools... but it's like only one event because college cheerleaders have so many obligations.

The cheer teams around the country usually have 1 head coach a couple of assistants, trainers, the tryouts are ridiculously competitive...a lot of planning goes into game days...

So when you see the LSU cheerleaders, let them know you appreciate them...

When their fans are sucking on lemons, like a few years ago, it's a beautiful place.

Really beautiful...

and more cohesive looking than LSU

The exterior of Tiger Stadium is a joke. The four sides of the stadium are all completely different from one another. From an exterior elevation perspective, they made just about every mistake you can make in architecture. The only portion they didn't ruin was the north end zone and that's only because N. Stadium Drive is preventing them from doing so.

Use to stand on the ramp after the 2003 run in with the student section and cops. When LSU wins get out of town as fast as possible.

They do the roll tide roll thing for everything
