Saints Vikings trade rumors

A friend of mine in Monroe told me Sean Fox is on the radio saying the Vikings are in trade talks with the Saints for Winston but I’ve not seen that anywhere else. Anyone else hearing that?

BREAKING: Per source, the Minnesota #Vikings and New Orleans #Saints are discussing a trade that would send QB Jameis Winston to Minnesota.
I’m told both sides are “pushing hard” to get a deal over the line before tomorrow’s deadline, and Winston is “eager” for the opportunity.

Makes sense. I was driving so didn’t know where that was coming from. I’m sure we’d find a way to get screwed if it did happen.

The Vikings are in prime tanking position with Cousins and Jefferson out. They also shed Cousins and Danielle Hunters contracts after this season.
Don’t really understand it for them, but if we can get something for Winston, I’m all for it.

Yeah they should definitely just sign Keenum or Colt McCoy or some vet bum to play out the string. Getting blown out as the 7 seed isn't doing anything for them.

I don't think the Saints should help the Vikings out for anything less than a 4th, especially not when they're in our conference and we're playing them in 2 weeks.
