You can try reaching out to LSU and asking to have an urn put somewhere in the stadium, but even that would be a stretch.

If you wait until there's a reason to rush the field they might be spreading both of your ashes.

They get these requests everyday and have never and will never allow it. People try to dump ashes more than you'd imagine and a few people have mentioned the usual methods used, typically during a tour like Shawshank or just taking out a little dimebag of papa
OPs grandpa needs to have his wishes tempered, especially if he doesn't want his remains swept up and thrown in the trash later
Burn me up and then dump what's left of me on a bonfire on my property where hopefully my family still lives for generations

If you are interested in doing so (not so legally), generally there is at least one open gate to the stairs around Tiger Stadium. I'd guess it's either open from other trespassers or from LSU trying to keep it from being broken by the previously mentioned. I can't recommend doing anything illegal, but the opportunity is probably there.

Find someone willing to fly you over the stadium and dump them out the window. Go ahead and ask him now if that would be an OK way to do it. If you do this, put him in a zip lock bag and then it will stay together until it hits the ground, then it will pop and there he will be.
