My brother has one of these, and I have to say it's a cool little rifle, but I was disappointed with the accuracy of it.
Try 6-8 different brand/loads of ammo.
ALL .22's are ammo-dependent when it comes to accuracy. CCI Mini-Mags (40 grain) shot tightest groups in mine, with one of the Aguila loads and the CCI "Tactical" tying for 2nd best. (But the cheap (36 grain) Wal-Mart ammo is plenty accurate for any plinking.)

After you find what the gun "likes," buy a metric load of it. But keep your test target so you'll have a reminder of 2nd best and 3rd best.

These rifles are plenty accurate. And they are perfect for kids because the stock is adjustable like any AR.

My experience with the CMMG .22 BCG was OK but far from great. The 5.56 twist rate and bore size are not for .22LR. Accuracy suffers and light firing pin strikes because the BCG moves forward on hammer strike. Built a dedicated upper with CMMG .22 barrel and BCG. Found a spacer on line that fits in front of the buffer that has a slight point that pushes the .22 BCG group forward eliminating light hammer strikes. Accurate and reliable.

We tried the CCI and the Aguila in it because I have quite a bit of those. I think we tried some Winchester that I had too. It's a new rifle, so it may just need to be shot more.
We probably put 300 rounds through it that day.
