I realize he’s on many posters’ permanent shite list, but didn’t he show a few glimpses of real talent in the first two games, especially in Knicks game. Was I hallucinating?

The pels were playing as a team and not 5 individual players more than I have ever seen with this crew, that will make every player look better.

Yes you were. He scored 2 points and missed a wide open layup and 2 wide open 3. I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be in the rotation at this rate.

I was excited about Kira when he was drafted. He was one of the top P&R players in college and at the time the Pels guards didn't really run P&Rs well. He seemed like a natural fit with Zion and BI. But he has never really showed the potential that he was drafted for.

At this point his value to the Pels is pretty minimal. CJ, Jose and Dyson have all been added since they drafted Kira. I also think Seabron can bring a lot of the value we hoped to get out of Kira on a much cheaper contract, which matters for tax reasons.

The only way Kira "works out" for the Pels is if he plays impressively enough to not just be salary in a deal, and he hasn't come close to looking like that kind of player.

He’s the fastest player with the ball that we have had since Ish Smith and it’s not close. The amount of court he can cover while dribbling is incredible. Unfortunately it hasn’t translated into points. You can’t teach that speed so he does have some room for improvement. Whether that occurs in a Pels uniform remains to be seen.

If only he could finish at the rim. Then he’d have more value.

I dont know dude. You offered us no specifics of what you saw….

He’s a point guard who went 1-4 and and didnt record an assist in 10 mins. What is that you saw that you want us to confirm? Lol

It took Fox a couple years to play with controlled speed. Kira could be that type of player, he just hasn’t had the playing time to learn how to play in control like Fox had in his early years.

Fox was playing with that controlled speed at kentucky. He always finished at the rim. If you don’t know how to finish at the rim in your fourth year, you never will. And I mean no disrespect to you but comparing Kira to Fox is a complete insult to Fox.

Please tell me, where did I compare them?

Fox did not play with the level of control he does today, I simply said if Kira could learn that then he could be that type of player, a fast PG.

I still believe he has a chance to be a contributing player to this team. He was tenacious on defense against the Knicks.

For sure, particularly on defense where he can be disruptive. He doesn’t look comfortable in the paint on offense where he needs to be more often.

Kira's defense has indeed improved. But it's certainly not at Jose's level, so I do think that he'll go to the bench when Jose returns.

I do think that we trade him this season, but I'm certainly rooting for him to continue to improve -- we want him to have value beyond salary filler.

He's done for. He simply doesn't make enough impact on the offensive side of the ball to warrant his contract. He doesn't run the pick in roll with Zion or any of the bigs to take advantage of his speed, doesn't hit his 3s, almost never attacks the basket in the half court and turns the ball over half the time. All the things that Alvarado does from game-time till end. It's like everybody else on the court knows their role but come time when Kira has the ball in his hands he acts like he never practiced with the team a day in his life or played organized basketball.

The comparison was one of taking time to play more controlled, not that Kira would become Fox.

Ok you guys are ridiculous. Hes saying Kira can be a Fox type player. That literally is the definition of comparing players.

For instance if I said Matt Ryan could be a Klay Thompson type player? You wouldn’t call that comparing players???

100% not what I said dude, maybe you should go back and read because you left off the part about Fox having playing time to learn to play in control, Kira has not.

They both have similar speed, and Fox learned to control that speed with playing time, which is what Kira has not had.

Does that clear it up for you?

- this is your exact words you literally said Kira could be a Fox type player if he had time. Stop getting pissed when it was a dumb comparison.
