New charter k-8 by North Vermilion, I am assuming they will go to 12 in the near future.
NV will go to shite when that happens

North Vermilion just struck gold hiring Rod Moy as football coach.

If you can win at Gueydan and Abbeville (modern day), you can win anywhere.

North Vermilion is home to an unusual demographic: rural cajuns

Moy was my WR coach when he first got to NV in ‘07-‘08. Funny dude, he’s going to do great here

ND tried to get Josh Reed to transfer.

Notre Dame’s running back was better than Josh reed when he was at Rayne. He’d have sat the bench or switched positions

Not really, but…..ok.

Private schools also have access to athletes with private training. Al-la growing up with proper training. No one thinks of that though.

Once they lose Jujuan Johnson after this year they won’t be as good

Not sure what his story is but he was definitely the best athlete on any field he played on.
I’m curious to see how he does at LSU. I was surprised that not much was said about him during the spring as I think he was an early enrollee.

They cheat in Lafayette if you are a good athlete, you go to LCA or STM look how everything as gone there the last 10 years. Do you really and truly here of the other Lafayette schools being a powerhouse over and over again. Northside had some real good teams in basketball when Lebato was there and a few pretty good football teams. LCA and STM get the kids and then win with them and the more you win the less {cheating} recruiting you have to do. Everyone wants to play for a winner. The days of playing for the local public school are over. Only in the small classes B and C you don't have quite as much cheating. Also kids want to specialize which is bull because each sport you play helps the other. Also don't want to hear about more opportunities and a better education. You get out what you put into something. I am from a very small community total pop.410. Everyone in my family graduated from college and have real good paying jobs. That was from being raised with discpline and not quitting when something getting tough, also you didn't go to college you joined the army.

Take this with a grain of salt if you wish, but I went to Crowley High with Nick Dugas who was our QB from 96-98.

More like Nick Dugas wanted to follow Coach Cook to ND

Another guy I played baseball with, Coby Hebert said ND would have waived tuition for him and his sister if he went there. He played baseball, football and basketball. He ended up at Iota. Again, I'm not sure if any of this is even true. Just what I remember hearing.

On an unrelated note, ND needs to use some of that money they bring in, or get funding from an alumni like Tommy Casanova to build their own goddamn football stadium and stop using Gardner Memorial.

Hey dummy you understand that Crowley High does not own that field right? The school board owns it. Both teams share the field owned by the school board

Why dont yall use yalls practice field at school to play games there? Should have plenty of room for seating there

It needs to be said. How is a team in a 50/50 city of 10,000 people ALL WHITE? That's how you know he doesn't recruit.

Bingo we have a winner...
