As much as I want him to be, Kira just isn’t any good… It is sad but true. He will be gone next year by the latest.

I'm worried they're trying the same shite they did with Jaxson last year to showcase Kira so we can move him

All it did was prove how shitty he was and hurt us trying to win games

I wouldn't go that far. He was still solid defensively and did what we needed him to do. You gotta remember he's filling in for Jose.

Yeah I think its more of we don’t have a choice since hes the defacto third string pg. But they also didn’t think he would be this bad either. If he doesn’t show up in the next couple of games, he’ll probably fall out of the rotation. Again, he played 11 minutes and he had 0 pts 0 assts 0 rebounds- thats absurdly bad.

THey have to do that, and they have the perfect opportunity with Jose hurt right now.
And this situation is much different than Jaxson's as we HAVE to get rid of Kira before the trade deadline b/c we can't be a tax team b/c of him. We have one 2nd round pick we can trade, 2024 which is most likely Boston's 2nd, which is the most worthless 2nd round pick in the league.
Hopefully that's enough to send to someone that will send us back another worthless player that will keep us under the tax. I'm sure a 2nd and some cash will do the trick.
IF we send Kira out, we can only take back $2.6M to stay under the tax, so we are asking a team to absorb $2M in a trade. We also only have 14 players rostered, so if you did a trade and took back $2.6M, you can't sign a 15th player, like Matt Ryan from his two way deal.
So if you want to sign a 15th player too, then you need to find someone to absorb Kira completely, and no one is going to do that with their cap space for one 2nd round pick thats likely to be the last 3-4 picks in the draft.

Dude is too scared out there. He'd do himself better if he at least attempted like 5 shots at the rim a game. Standing around out there not gone get him another contract or more minutes. He needs to show hes the back up pg and lead the tempo, create shots, and attempt shots whether he makes them or not whenever he can. This will be his only chance so he might as well make mistakes and try his best. Nickeil knew this and that why he still in the league because he continues to play to his strengths instead of hiding them away even if he's not being effective with them. Where is his mid-range, where is his floater, where is the pick in roll??? He needs to be doing something with the ball. What does he even do at practice stand around there too and just jack up 3s??

Even if he is more of a scrub than he showed last night, Matt Ryan (or another 3pt only guy) has to be on our roster at all times this season.

Just the threat of him on the floor opens up so much.

Completely agree with you here. I think this is where we are seeing Borrego’s influence on this team.

I won't believe it until they keep him in the rotation (or even keep him on the team) once Naji is activated.

The hope is Ryan plays so well that putting Naji back in the rotation makes absolutely no sense. Honestly, lot if it is up to Ryan. I think Willie already likes him- i mean they put him in after signing him 2 days ago. He also was trying on defense which I think Willie likes.
