He's bizarrely bad at extra points, 8 misses last year. OP must've looked at Maher's fantasy numbers and assumed he was having a good season.

Maher has been trash all season and his misses have been terrible. I’d rather bring John Carney than Maher. Grupe will not be threatened by that chump.

I'm pretty sure Lutz was at the end of preseason.
I'm still shocked no one else is pointing out that we already brought in Maher and then discarded him after like 6-8 games just two years ago, and here we're suggesting we do it again.
