I’ve been trying to figure out what evidence is out there from this, and Josh links a paywalled message board convo so I can’t really figure what’s going on there with Brent Zdebski.

That said, I see some Michigan fans on Twitter showing a Venmo transaction between Sam McGrath, a defensive quality control coach, and Brent, from September 21st with a shamrock. That’s 2 days before the Notre Dame game, so while it could be something nefarious, the timing during ND week doesn’t really help there.

This also seems to stem from people finding Stallions Venmo, which I’m not sure if there was actually anything meaningful on there or not, although the internet sleuths seemed to think so. That said, to whatever extent stuff like this is common, I’m skeptical that we’re going to find a lot of info on public Venmo transactions. But who knows.
