I have a handicap sticker. Had three level fusion in my neck three years ago. Left my arms paralyzed for two months afterwards. With a ton of physical therapy. It also makes my legs weak. So some days I feel ok and go to the store and park in a normal space. I think screw it, I don't need my cane today, I feel good. 10 minutes in the store, it all goes to hell. Can barely stand up. But I do see a ton of people with tags that get around just fine.

Sometimes there are times I need one of those scooters, but I won't take a chance that some 90 yr old grand ma might need it

Don’t be that guy.

Don’t get bothered because you have to walk an extra 20 yards

idk but i see a lot of fat minorities using them that seem to not really be disabled

Same here in the N.O. area. Some fat assed woman in a lycra body suit taking up a handicap space near a store entrance because she feels entitled is how I figure it.

As someone in line for a disabled veteran license plate and handicap sticker, I only plan on using it at sporting events and HEB on Sundays

What would you do in this scenario:

You set up a first date with a girl and you meet at the restaurant.
The dates goes great. Pretty girl, pleasant, mutual attraction, all the stuff your looking for.

You walk her to her car after the date having already setup the 2nd date. You get to her car and discover that she put a temporary handicapped hang tag up so she could park there. She doesn’t even mention it, as if this is just an normal thing.

Do you ignore it or cancel the 2nd date and harshly judge her forever?

I’m torn.

I’m not sure about parking spots but I love to take a crap in the handicap stall, they are always clean and nice new roll of paper.

I dated a girl that used her moms while we were at Sam’s, that was the beginning of the end of that relationship, she didn’t like it that I questioned her about it.

My wife is handicapped so I speak from years of experience when I say easily half of the handicapped parking spaces are misused. It is worse at grocery stores and big box stores. Nothing more infuriating than seeing a fat lazy a-hole misusing these spaces to save themselves a few feet of walking or pushing a shopping cart.

I see it abused. Family member has some disability, but everyone in the household uses the placard to go wherever they want and use a spot

I see an inordinate amount of seemingly healthy people evidently using their Auntie's tag.

That chick is never getting another text. Unless she administered a blowie parked directly in front of the doors of the restaurant in the parking lot. Then she'd still only last one or two more dates. That relationship is not going to last if you still have your nuts outside her purse.

abuse observations

Handicap stickers on jacked up f-350's that require a ladder to get in

Disabled Vet plates on f-250's. Veterans have a very low bar for disability claims. But a Purple Heart disability plate is always respected.

Last week, saw a dually pick up parked across TWO handicapped spots

Curbside pickups displaced a lot of handicap spots

True handicap people are allowed to park empty basket at near by locations

DV plates by themselves don't allow parking in handicapped spots as far as I know (may vary by state, but I don't think so).

I know a guy who got his purple heart by getting hit with a piece of shrapnel to his knuckles. He was was a GO AdC, was technically correct, but he didn't even miss a day of work.

I have a knee injury and am saving up sick leave to have surgery to fix it. I feel really bad about using my handicapped parking decal but keep telling myself that I won't have to use it for too much longer.
