Phillies are all up into the Diamondbacks' heads. Love it. Just to remind Braves' fans, your teams' arse is at home which is a good thing.

I got flamed here for saying it which is fine, I’ve been flamed before and will be flamed again, but at the start of the playoffs I said Philadelphia and Texas appeared to be the two teams best set up for postseason runs. Not for 162 games but for October, when they play for the big trophy.

I don’t gamble but I sort of wish I’d put my money where my mouth was.

There’s no way the Phillies can stay this hot till the end

No doubt it will be Texas and the Phillies but Texas still wins it all

10-0. Is there a mercy rule because Phillies are sweeping the leg right now.

Rangers have the pitching to shut down the Phillies. Assuming they won't get wheeler or Nola in Philly it's the Rangers to lose

Even if their bats cool off their pitching has been the best in the playoffs.

That bottom 7th inning felt like it lasted an hour.

Something like 20-3 with a 1.50 Era?

That’s just crazy

This is setting up as the most uninteresting, uncompetitive post season ever

ALWC- Rangers sweep Rays
ALWC- Twins sweep Jays
NLWC- Phillies sweep Marlins
NLWC- Dbacks sweep Brewers

ALDS- Rangers sweep Orioles
ALDS- Astros beat Twins 3-1
NLDS- Dbacks sweep Dodgers
NLDS- Phillies beat Braves 3-1

ALCS- Rangers up 2-0
NLCS- Phillies up 2-0

The series are a combined 24-2.

The Phillies home games have been electric. That crowd is the best in baseball

I don’t disagree that this post season has been uncompetitive to a certain point due to the sweeps but I found it to be a very interesting postseason so far. A lot of interesting storylines up to this point and the WS will have some interesting ones also.

Am i alone in thinking Schwarber shouldnt be leading off? I get that he walks a lot, but has no speed, is a strikeout or HR type hitter. Would do better at 3 or 4 and move Turner to leadoff. I think Turner has a better OBP and can steal a base . What am i missing here?

The Phillies are on fire, why would you mess with it? Everyone seems to be fine and comfortable where they’re at

It’s weird but it’s a risk vs reward situation. He will either strikeout, walk, or hit the shite out of the ball. It is unique and it makes pitchers approach to that situation different to start off. It works for the Phillies.

I think when they started him as leadoff last year. The explanation was it gives him more at bats through out a season.

I prefer a more traditional leadoff hitter but it works for the phillies
