re: What's the best financial deal you've gotten all year?

Bought a truckload of new Kohler toilet seats in an inventory reduction auction for $4400.

It was $30K worth of seats I was going to sell on Amazon but a week later Kohler emailed me that they had made a mistake and did not actually have the 600 toilet seats they put up for auction. Disappointing to say the least.

Hired a company to install gutters on the sides and back of my house. I get a call and due to poor communication they also installed them on the front of the house. I asked if they could remove them but, was told it would leave holes. So, I offered to pay half price. She said "No, it's our mistake, there's no charge."

We pulled up to the new Whataburger drive through in Sulphur, Saturday evening. As I pull away from the order sign my arse I kinda chapped that the total was nearly $50. When we arrive at the window, we're told that the meal was free because they were still training. Winning!!!

Honorable mention: I found two 20s laying on the ground at the soccer complex last night.

Bought a medium sized generator (3600 watt) off of Amazon for my offshore boat, generator ended up being to big for the compartment. I called Amazon as the return feature wouldn't work online, after a short conversation they gave me my money back and told me to keep the generator. Hell of a deal.
