I think OP has East and West Sides mixed up.

I think you’re right. For OP’s future reference, the river is to the west

Things will be a lot easier once people realize that available tickets for LSU football far exceeds demand for all but the most important games. There aren't thousands of people who would stay the whole game who don't have access to tickets.

I was on East side and left after our first score in the 3rd.

Everyone talks about traffic and all but I think just fixing the internet would help. Cant check scores half the time and I’m sure the students who live with their phone in their hands can’t deal with out it.

This is simply not true.. sat on the West Side and the East Side cleared out way before the end of the game

you cant tell how empty your own part of the stadium is.

South is always fullest and its not debatable

so many people don't go to the game for the game anymore. it's no wonder a good percentage bail before the final horn. But someone bought those tickets to use/give away as they please. consequences of rising ticket prices, rising quality of TV and quantity of games on, etc.
Actually if your primary interest is in the game--the actual game--it is hard not to stay home. First game attended was 1959 season ticket holder since 1979 and old person.

I don’t understand staying til 2:00 to go… if you stayed that long then what is 2 more game minutes. The players have to play 60 minutes, why can you not give them your respect and cheer for them for 60 minutes and not 58.

You aren’t wrong. But what do I get next year when that player I supported bolts for another school for more NIL money?

The traffic is the problem. LSU is cheap and won't fix it.

Stay for entire game, tailgate & chill afterwards, leave when traffic clears.

I didn’t realize how many great LSU games I had went to from 1998-2008. Going to a game sure is nothing like it used to be.

bullshite, I was on the east side and it thinned out as much as the west side. Only part of the stadium that stayed full was the SEZ

you would have to be retarded to think the student section is the issue here

I sit in section 302--east side lower bowl. It was 3/4 empty by early 4th quarter.

Not even remotely true. I was on the west side upper deck and the East never even got full much less “stayed full”. North and south were packed most of the game.

agreed because I could see on TV the east side clearing out well before the end of the game. Of course there were no shots of the west side so I could be convinced that side was more full to the end.

Trying to understand the logic here. People in the corporate sideline seats don’t stay all game, so we should penalize the students?

I think he meant “cut” to mean “print.”

LSU needs to do a 180 on student tickets. Give them more. Every student should get the opportunity to attend every game. This includes undergrad and up. Let’s even throw in med school students in Nola as well. Scan an LSU ID, let them in, and not scalp the tickets for hundreds over initial value.
