We have seen numerous times that the NCAA does not make rulings evenly. They do what they want, when they want, and how they want.

Wade got Level I and II violations. 2 year show cause. 10 game suspension. Are you people arguing that they would have been more lenient if LSU didn't fire him?

Will Wade isn't a good coach, he definitely wasn't very good in March

How many coaches have we had who were more successful than him?

No they wouldn’t have. The IARP ruled on Kansas’s case, not the NCAA. Same for NC St., Arizona, Memphis, and Louisville. And guess what NOTHING OF SIGNIFICANT NOTE happened to any of those schools. The only school that was investigated by the NCAA (not the IARP wing) was Oklahoma St. They fully cooperated with the NCAA. In return, they received…a postseason ban.

Hindsight is 20/20. But is is clear now LSU didn’t have to fire Wade to save the program. It was a (purposeful) overreaction by an AD who wanted to get rid of a HC he didn’t hire and he felt was a pain in the arse.

What is done is done though, and I hope McMahon has a great season. That’s all you can do at this point

NCAA gets all their $$$ from March madness TV. Blue bloods pull the big ratings & thus big bucks. Follow the money. It’s that easy.

Kansas could take that chance because if the NCAA went after the football program in retaliation, who would care?

If the NCAA went after LSU football, it'd be a much bigger problem which is why Woodward cauterized the wound.

I agree last year sucked. The roster was pathetic. Are you judging his coaching based on the performance of that team with that talent? Why are you so sure he can’t improve with a better roster?

a-hole could've hired Tony Bennett at Washington State, but he hired Trent Johnson.

a-hole could've hired Eric Musselman, but he hired Johnny Jones.

Eddie Nunez got Will Wade in here. (Not a-hole)

a-hole could've hired Kim Mulkey, but he hired Nikki Caldwell. (Fargas)

a-hole could've hired Tom Herman or P.J. Fleck, but he hired Ed Orgeron.

a-hole could've hired another concession company other than Aramark.

Well, at least a-hole replaced all the dilapidated and broken windows in PIMger Stadium........
