Man if you did that every day that would really frick up your dick. Isn't one of the benefits of having 47 million a year banging hot chicks?

As much as he hates it looks like he still shows up all season. He only played less than 70 games in one regular season minus last year in which he played 69.

Sounds like he is the type of employee you want. Is good at what he does. Even though he doesn’t like it he shows up and gets the job done.

More than you can say about the pussies who use load management as an excuse to collect a check and sit on their arse.

Id assume hes leaning into the bit at this point and just making a joke but he definitely is going to retire relatively early

I feel like there has to be a lot of guys who are 6’9” to 7’ who don’t love basketball but are super tall and can jump and run and make insane amounts of money doing it.

that being said, idk. dunking a basketball looks like it HAS to feel awesome

99% of Americans would give up pretty much anything to have a job they hate with a salary of $50 million.

I feel so bad for him.

He's really never made it a secret. He was pissed as frick famously last year that he had to stay 2 extra days for the Championship parade instead of going home.

In the end he warmed up to the idea of the parade

I'd imagine a lot of pro athletes grow to dislike their sport simply because of all the time they must invest in it over the course of their lives. It's a job and not a pickup game at the Y.

I think basketball is particularly unique in that there are NBA players who got to be there because of their height.

Deandre Jordan is the perfect example. He did not try at basketball until he got to the Clippers.

The strange thing with Jokic is that he is skilled and has a insanely high basketball IQ, yet seems to be totally apathetic. I think it is a bit of an act. Like a Euro Brooks Koepka.

I've always heard over half of the NBA doesn't like basketball

That's probably also true for half the fans...they're there for the scene, cheap date, business/client relations, hooochie mammas and Instagram whores looking to hook-up...in some ways an NBA arena on a Saturday night is like a nightclub for the worst of society.

It really depends on the person. I'm a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I've seen interviews where the guitarist talks about just wanting to play guitar all day when he's at home. I've heard Flea, the bass player, talk about how on Christmas when his family was preparing dinner he spent some time in the basement jamming, and that's when he came up with the baseline for one of their hit songs. So even on Christmas he can't help but pick up the bass.

Some musicians see it more as a job, but for some it's all they want to do.

He’s not human. He’s a robot developed by Red Bull racing to take the title back.

Enjoy him while it lasts. We probably have a max of 6 more seasons of being able to watch this man play basketball.
