Who is surprised that bama has improved and continuing to improve?? They will most likely be a playoff contender because they have elite coaching.

AAAAAAHHHHHH Kelly and his "terrible" coaches are 1-0 vs all those "elite" coaches at Bama. Oh and those "elite" coaches were embarrased by Texas and had to struggle to put up 17 points against mighty South Florida this year.

My observation was that the Defense wasn't getting torched downfield with long passes. They were getting beat by short passes that turned into big plays because of horrible tackling. The D was slow, took bad angles and couldn't bring down runners, receiver or TE's once they had the ball. This loss was about fundamental tackling, lack of effort and pour conditioning.

He needs to fire the whole defensive staff. I still wouldn’t trust he would replace them with anything better he is lazy when hiring position coaches and it takes him forever to do it while all the good coaches at that time sign elsewhere. Kelly is so overrated it’s not even funny

If LSU fires House we have to pay his buyout. If House gets hired elsewhere we are off the hook. Best case is Kelly helps him get the MSU job.

House making 2 million a year is crazy

House giving up 700+ yards and 50+ points against Ole Miss is even crazier.

Yes House needs to go but man the player personnel is awful.

Its not so awful that they should be giving up 700 yards of offense

Against FSU everyone said the problem was that we couldn't match up man to man. So now we know we can't play zone either. The defense was actually better against FSU; at least we were competing for balls. Last night OM receivers were catching balls and there was not a DB in the picture and they were ten yds up the field before a LSU DB could even miss the tackle. We looked like we did when Pellini was DC...DBs/LBs did not know or understand their zone responsibilities leaving gaping holes on the field.

I knew when we had to go get a position coach from the chiefs that no one seemed to want , felt weird. Looks like a duck quacks like a duck.

The way we are heading we can’t afford NOT to fire him.

BTW- Ga Tech demoted their DC today and have a higher rated defense than we do .

DC isn’t the one making the tackles, not the issue

I’m not sure we would have looked any worse in D last night if the players just did their thing with no coaching. That’s the baseline.

I feel like people throw out the “stubborn” line when things aren’t going well just as a talking point. Special teams were bad last year, he made a change. He’s switched up QB’s in his career as well. You can criticize Kelly for some things and it’s definitely warranted, but I don’t get the “he’s stubborn” line.

Yep. I doubt that House will be fired outright. I definitely could see him “pursuing an NFL opportunity” or something of that nature. Basically the Polian treatment. Fired without being fired.

It was crazy long before the defense sucked. Let’s not pretend it was ok before and suddenly it’s ridiculous

Everyone complaining about a lack of talent should consider this-
Lesser teams with lesser talent play better teams all the time without surrendering 40+ points, much less 50+.
More talent would help but its NOT the root of the problem

Because the better team shuts down their offense knowing the lesser team has no chance to score enough to make but a game.

Y'all don't think this stuff through
