He went to A&M because he's a small town kid and wanted the same environment. College Station sucks but over the years they've landed some kids who didn't want the big city lifestyle just yet.

Not surprised. 5 stars just aren't our thing.

Just more talent to squander there that doesn’t go to Bama or GA. If they don’t come to LSU, please go to the Aggies

Losing isn’t even the biggest problem.

He won’t be developed at all, thus hurting his chances at being ready for the next level after college.

This is exactly what's happening. There's about 5 or 6 schools ponying up insane amounts of money for these kids. Many keep saying it, but until some regulations are put in place with NIL and booster involvement, we aren't going to sign the same classes we're accustomed to. The top 5 every year will continue to be those spending the most cash.

Won’t be developed like Myles Garrett, Mike Evans, and Vonn Miller?

None of those players played for Jimbo or this staff

Yes. They played for Sherman and Sumlin. They both played on teams that averaged a 4th or 5th place finish in the West. Point is if you are good enough to play in NFL you will make it. Garrett was the number one overal pick and Miller was 2nd. They both played on average teams and for average coaches.

The real question is, if Billy and Shea are telling the truth about "relationships" , particularly as it pertains to Bussey, would you believe it or is your mind made up regardless of what anyone says? The answer determines whether its them or you not being honest.

I'm sure it's both.

Home state school. Jimbo has a good staff or recruiters.

I don't think it's that hard to believe. He has been all a&m the entire time. It's not like money swayed him at the end.

Just making it and reaching your football potential are two very different things. For every Myles Garrett and Von Miller, there are hundreds of other players in that program who aren't properly developed.

Notre Dame fans warned us that Kelly would recruit “good, not great”.

I’m a huge Kelly guy but his recruiting is extreme concerning.

We need to hire an actual DLine coach that can do the job.

Lighten up Francis. Kelly knows what he is doing. This is nothing more than money and the Aggies have tons of it. We got Caden Durham, Xavier Atkins, Jalani Watkins and Ory Williams out of Texas. Aggies wanted Durham in the worse way.

Kelly is a better coach anyway

But we did beat them for a 3 star tackle who probably won’t see the field until his junior yr lol that counts right?

There are 100's of "3 star" lineman in the NFL in fact several who played at LSU,

You aren’t going to want very many kids, then.

Add it to the ever-expanding list of head-to-head losses on the recruiting trail for Coach Kelly. The Tigers lost the top-ranked cornerback in the country and at the same time offered a scholarship to another CB who is not ranked in the top 1,000. A victory for Kelly is trying to flip A&M'S lowest rated recruit who is from Louisiana. The Tigers likely will not finish in the Top 15. Many say this recruiting deficit is because A&M and Texas are buying the top players. However, LSU has had enough cash to finance the highest paid coaching staff in the country but somehow not enough to compete for players.

I’m sure the cavalry will be quick to remind everyone in this thread that this staffs recruiting so far isn’t a big deal and it will all be roses in the end with our slate of kids we’ll get after the big dogs take who they want. But it’s ok cause they are kids that don’t want money!!!
