Dang, that's great news. Thanks for the heads up.
I actually have a set of Band of Brothers DVD's in really great tin, but I haven't had my DVD player hooked up in years, so this will be much more convenient.
For those who haven't watched The Pacific yet - it is good but a bit grittier and darker than BoB and since BoB is pretty much The Goat, Pacific doesn't quite reach those heights. On the plus side, Rami Malek steals the show as cajun Merill 'Snafu" Shelton in a brillant performance.

One of the best performances I've seen. Made me feel what war must feel like. He was totally gone mentally - the scene where he's throwing pebbles into the top of a severed is straight eerie. And pulling teeth out of dead soldiers.
The writers did an outstanding job making you feel the impacts of war.
