We'd pull up a rug and a pillow on the tile floor, cover with a blanket, turn the channels manually, sprinkle some extra sugar on our frosted flakes, and enjoy the cartoons.

Sunday mornings were Japanese monster movies and space adventures. Depending on what time we went to mass, wed miss the end of a lot of movies.

Sunday mornings were Tarzan with Ron Ely as Tarzan....and right after Duke's death the local NBC affiliate had John Wayne Theater.....hell. I remember in New Orleans when you had The Big Movie at 3 pm everyday.....they would have certain dedicated weeks to people like Jerry Lewis.....hosted by Cajun Ken Cooper.
