There have been multiple hilarious posts in threads about crazy stuff that resulted in firings or people who were terrible at their jobs.
One guy told about a fellow who sold a load of bullshite at the interview by overstating his computer skills. He got the job. They gave him an assignment, and the new hire went to his office to get started. The poster went to check on him a few minutes later and saw, through the window, the fellow driving off, never to be seen again.
That was one of many that had me crying.

Reminds me of a Reddit post. Some guy who ran a machine shop was hiring for a machinist. One candidate had an excellent resume, interview went very well and the last step was to be able to operate the equipment. So, he takes him downstairs and the guy just looks at the equipment, walks around a few times and then suddenly gets startled, grabs his cell phone that clearly isn't ringing and says, "I need to take this" and books it to the parking lot and speeds off.

The thread a few years ago about the guy asking if Koi fish were edible after he fed one of his parents Koi fish to his son who then got sick has always stuck with me. He spelled Koi as Coy and one of the replies was "I'm not sure, but those frickers definitely know more than they're letting on" still makes me lol.

One of my favorite events that happened on here happened years ago. The dude from Florida. I always forget his name, but he drove to Louisiana from Florida to fight CodytheTiger, who lives in Arkansas.
