Awww yeah...Schmidt is a big one boys!

He's a righty that reminds me a bit of Luke Holman. Has a really good curveball and his fastball is anywhere from 91-95.

Did he apologize to his family for considering Miss State?

Schmidt is #15 overall in PG rankings.

That means we now have 12 Top 100 players for 2024 class, 15 in the Top 170, pretty silly

Long way to go till the 24 draft so a lot can change but 5 of the 12 Top 100 guys are in the Top 15 so you can probably count on at least half those guys (of the 12 top 100) signing pro deals.

I counted 15 potential draft picks or seniors on the current roster
Similar to last year you might have 2 or 3 that decide to return once you get in later rounds

His mom is from Mississippi as was looking forward to moving back one day. So when MSU offered a FULL ride after they won the CWS and LSU only was offering a partial it made sense to accept. Him and his Dad loves LSU. Just gotta hope we dodge the MLB draft

Ya, I know its early, I was looking at some draft prospect list the other day that had college and high school prospects and didnt see anyone other than current players. We've gotten few commitments since then though. Even after quite a few years, I still cant wrap my mind around the baseball recruiting cycle.

Gonna go see a few Catholic High games this year. Two pitchers from the same school in the same year. That can’t be very common?

This class is going to be nasty.

Speaking of nasty, what’s with the pics of them looking like they’re pinching one off behind a car-wrapped boom box? Kind of cringe, desu.

Jay is getting back to the Skip formula in the 90s. The best player at Catholic goes to LSU.

JUCO slugger Sam Christiansen visited this weekend and did the whole photo shoot thing. He seemed to have been leaning to us for a while now so we may see him pop this week.

I wonder if he went through some kind of swing change or how much bigger/stronger he may be now compared to high school. Looks like he had 4 HRs in the juco season but 9 in limited summer league games.

Coach Johnson has said Crews, Skeens, et all have given him the perfect recruiting pitch, the value of coming to LSU; Robinson's recruitment showed him the importance of really recruiting the parents, as they were the ones who really pushed him to come to college vs pro ball money.

Breaux was shut down early March due to arm injury. Battled it in the summer. Trying to get it fixed this fall .

Just looking at their twitter picture, RF line is 351, RC is 379, and CF is 410.
