The greens are faster than the day we opened. They will have bare spots till next spring when it’s growing season again. This summer was brutal with no rain. The greens would have easily been ready months earlier with a normal summer.

At some point we had to open. It had to create income at some point. It’s not a government run course with a huge budget. There are reasons why Beaver is good and Webb is horrible. It’s were the money is diverted by Brec. Comparing any courses green fees to brec is an unfair comparison. $28 of you green fee at Beaver is tax payer subsidies.

Played it yesterday and enjoyed it.

Noticed they cleared a lot of trees out around the greens (most noticeably on 2) and for not receiving rain all summer I thought the course was in solid shape.

I will say I’m sure the GPS is built into the green fee, but now that every golf group has a range finder, it just seemed like an unnecessary expense that’s passed onto the player.

I guess due to the weather, they were able to cut the greens short this weekend. Speed was good and the ball rolled really well.
