LSU needs a Social Justice Center of Excellence.

LSU already has one. It is called the LSU Law Center.

Each project is in excess of. Billions . the jobs are well paying but getting to and from work is difficult. working conditions are difficult , due to heat, etc , the future is bright in spite of ecowackos . sTUPID question

They’ve got a billion dollars of pilings and concrete, but have lost most of their large investors and without locked in contracts, it’ll be tough to raise capital. Meanwhile, Sempra got the go ahead on their FID for $14B in Port Arthur, and has every scf presold. And should get the go ahead for their Cameron expansion soon.

not once they are up in running. Operations at these places are some of the least intensive and best operations jobs out there.

Sorry but Mcneese is one of many universities in Louisiana that needs to be merged or adjusted.

Way too many four year schools in a state of Louisiana’s size. Why would a state like Louisiana need 28 four year colleges?

Wut?

Let's start with baby steps like closing SUNO and a few others, then worry about merging or close schools. NcNeese would be way down on my list to mess with.

they dont need 28, but McNeese is way down the list of schools that need to be closed.

I would agree prolly need to shift the focus even more to Stem and nursing. but they absolutely should stay before many others.

but sorry....prolly not even gonna get a school like SUNO to close.

could easily have one in NOLA, 1 in BR, 1 in Laf, 1 in LC, 1 in Monroe, 1 in Shreveport and be perfectly fine.

McNeese is the only 4-year university for SWLA and serves a rural 5 parish area with over 300K people. It is far from being in need of merging or adjusting.
