Jordy said on his show that this is the latest of several minor violations of the rules. He also said that BK sent a message to Denver and that is was received, which is also the exact same thing they said when Denver signed here. The pattern seems to be that Harris breaks a rule, gets discipline or "sent a message", he says he'll do better, then the cycle repeats.

Also worth noting that Jordy is getting his information from Denver's step father, Tack Minor, who is Jordy's former roommate and good friend. So there is definitely some bias there.

Tack is Denvers step dad.

This is why "rumors" should be banned from the board. Its stupid to spread misinformation about players before things get announced. Its bad for the LSU program

Sounds like you'd be better suited for reading the advocate than a message board. That's what message boards are for. If you can't sift through the bullshite yourself and take all of what you read with a grain of salt then you don't belong. I don't want someone policing everything I'm allowed to read. Let me read it and then make my own judgements.

Yeah Brennan totally didn't break his arm. It was all message board speculation and rumors.

What are Harris' issues exactly?

Mathieu was smoking weed, and not in the locker room.

Harris was racing through a parking garage putting lives in danger, fighting with his own teammates, and smoking weed in the locker room. That shows a complete disregard for human life, no respect for other people including his teammates, and no respect for authority including his coaches. These last 2 are events that affect the entire team's chemistry. It's a much more significant attitude issue and nothing comparable to what Mathieu's reported issues were. The only similarity is that they both lacked the foresight to see how damaging their acts were to their future. Harris is honestly very lucky that he didn't end up seriously injuring/killing someone in the parking garage and ruining his entire future and someone else's with one stupid act.

Denver wasn’t really going to have a chance here because everything he did was going to be under a microscope anyway unfortunately.

I've got news for you. If you play football at LSU your arse is going to be under a microscope. It isn't unique to Denver Harris. If you aren't mature enough to handle the pressure then playing SEC football isn't for you.

I'm actually okay with how Kelly is handling this. The players recognize talent when they see it and know how good DH could be for them. They also get the chance to see that Kelly is not bullshitting when he says, "walk the line or you will not play, period."

I actually think this is pretty low risk for Kelly. Denver is a walking advertisement that if you don't get aligned to what we're doing, you will not get on the field, idc how talented you are. Who knows, maybe not getting on the field and being so close to your dreams yet you may as well be a million miles away from it is exactly what could help DH in the future. Obviously if it continues, he will be gone and blow a major opportunity, but maybe the discipline Kelly has instilled may change that kids life. We'll see, I trust Kelly either way.

The only problem is that this isn't the first time. This is basically his 3rd suspension in the last 12 month between 2 different teams. He gets disciplined, says "I've learned my lesson", then does more dumb shite. Over and over again.

We have no idea what the parameters are. For all we know, he could be 100% isolated. Maybe he's in a solo dorm, no contact with teammates, only allowed in weight room and nutrition facility when no team members are there, etc.

Isolation is a pretty powerful way to tell a person that they are dipped in shite and nobody can help them but themselves.

ETA: For this current situation, I mean. There may have been multiple lesser punishments and they just didn't stick.

Eh, the picture was probably secondary. If he got sent home before practice and told to get his shite together before he comes back then I seriously doubt the team picture was being thought about.

It’s certainly possible he was kicked off the team but I don’t see BK delaying the announcement until Wednesday without there being something else going on.

Don’t really need to know the exact parameters. The point is, he repeatedly gets in trouble and “punished”, but keeps doing dumb shite.

It sounds like these aren't what you'd call "major infractions" this time around but moreso it's Kelly sending a message to Denver, which I applaud him for. We'll see if he gets it together, but for the young man's sake, I hope he does. Otherwise, he has a future that doesn't look too bright.
