He didn’t give up much for this guy. Worth a look with lefty arms hurting in the pen.

Lol

ETA: Humor me, what made Hearn worth a look?

Gary Cohen on SNY, talking about some random upcoming Mets series: "ESPN has the Sunday night game, but they might give it back now."

Powerful lefty. He’s got a great arm.

I watched the first inning and the fans started booing because the Scherzer deal became official then continued booing as the Nats scored 4 runs.

Jesus Christ

Just because you throw 97 doesn't mean you have a great arm.

Eh. I think that means you have a great arm. It doesn’t mean you can pitch.

Then pretty much every pitcher in MLB has a "great arm" which then doesn't mean shite when you're talking about MLB pitchers amongst other MLB pitchers.

I would argue most MLB pitchers have great arms. That is an accurate statement. Though velo has increased, a lefty throwing high 90s is still a desirable quality. But if you can’t actually do anything with it, it doesn’t matter. Semantics and I’m done.

Tonkin has pitched well for the Braves. Another solid signing by AA.

I mean yeah, when you're talking about them compared to the rest of the pitchers in the world... yeah, no shite. It's why they're in MLB.

But when we're talking about Taylor Hearn relative to other MLB pitchers, he doesn't have a great arm. And yes, control is part of the "arm".

This is one of those nights when the Braves win and the rest of the division loses.

11 game lead if the Pirates can hold on.

23rd series win of the year.

Reports of our demise were premature.

You're right, Taylor Hearn still doesn't have a great arm.
