I feel like we quit trying to get that 3rd goal and tried to play more defensive.

To be fair Spurs weren’t creating much with who were on the field before that anyway.
Feel like Udogie has regressed a bit in the last month.

Spurs really are a frustrating squad. There is some talent, but they can’t control a game against a shite Everton team. The defensive performance, especially against set pieces today, is really pathetic.

I swear to Christ I don’t know if any club on Earth gives up more stoppage time equalizers or winners than us
So infuriating
So infuriating

Just watched the highlights. With the way goalkeepers are protected I can’t believe Everton’s first goal stood. He clearly backed into Vicario with zero attempt to play the ball. Way less gets called on a regular basis.

Really want Sonny back, but I’d like to see him win the Asian Cup. Is this one of the tournaments that exempts the winners from military service? I know Son is already exempt, but others could benefit.

Sarr back in the lineup; Son & Bissouma back and on the bench
quote:
Vicario, Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie, Sarr, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Maddison, Werner, Richarlison

We just need to level this up before half and regroup

Hate when refs don’t go back and book players after playing an advantage. The Dunk challenge on Richy was a textbook foul for stopping a counter.

Son has to be an immediate sub after half

Would rather see Bissouma.
After Jurgen ran Son into the ground over the last month, I’m not sure we’ll see him for more than a few minutes this match.

If Kulu dives instead of actually trying to get a shot off, it’s probably 1-1. But since he actually tried to score, no foul.

Spurs are simply a mid table squad at this point. Brighton has solidly outplayed them.

Holy overreaction. First year manager playing relatively good all year against a really solid Brighton squad. Both teams have controlled portions of this match for stretches at a time.

I just disagree. Brighton is a solid club if you disregard their 4-0 defeat at Luton, but Spurs just look middling. The passing is poor and if they somehow tie or win this it is against the run of play.

I disagree, Brighton is a good club, we have had some moments of poor play but overall we’ve been the better side.
Edited to add, we now have everyone back and some time to get everyone rested so we should start seeing better football.
