Then get him off, have the operation, and let the recovery process begin. He hasn't been effective at all. But, even if he were, it isn't like any contribution he could make would change CFC's fate this season. I know it was against Everton, but the middle was much more fluid when he wasn't in the game. If he is hurt then it is a disservice both to the team and the player to have him out there right now.

Was Gallagher available (although I don’t find him to be any more effective in that role)?

Chucka - nope.

Jackson? Who goes up top?

Mads- nope.

Mudryk- nope.

Chelsea, from a roster standpoint, is screwed at this point.

I mean, the injury page is beyond crazy!

If Nkuku comes back, be could play there. But without CP, Enzo’s spot would be a hole, even worse than what we are currently seeing, and that is saying something, because he has played pretty poorly.

I would imagine that Enzo is put out there on the off chance that he plays well (which is more likely than his replacements at this point imho).

Again, I agree that he hasn’t been effective, but I’m not sure who would improve the circumstances.

It really is a shitty situation.

In the end, Chelsea may sneak into Europe.

That would be a minor miracle given the circumstances.
