Have you forgotten our lack of an actual striker?

Between Nkuku and Jackson, I’m comfortable at forward for now.

Even keeper is no longer a necessity.

Centerback….that’s another story. If Fofana comes back, he should be slotted in one spot imho. As for the other one? I suggest that we bring in experience. I know that Brighton has made some bank off of us, but I like Dunk.
Just my .02.

Jackson is a backup, midweek guy...you don't win championships with Jackson leading the line.

Fofana has been perpetually injured...had forgotten he was on the team. Same for Lavia in the midfield.

He is 22 and didn’t have shoes until 16.

He is still learning the position.

Yet he had numbers similar to Drogba.

He is going to be a stud in time. He is just raw.

A healthy Nkuku is a big deal.

As for Fofana, you are right about the injuries. I’m assuming that he returns fully fit. That is a leap of faith on my part.

Lavia is another story. I think that we overpaid. Depending upon whom is recalled, he may he put out on loan.

The problem with the last 18 months of splurging is that any half-decent player coming to CFC expects to be severely overpaid. The type of guy that would be an upgrade on Jackson would want so much money it would be hard to fill other, more needy positions. I’m for rolling with Jackson and upgrading at center back and keeper.

very happy with the way the season ended

between cucurella and chillwell, they sell chillwell if they can. Chilly only has 57 EPL starts in four seasons with 24 in the last two. Cucurella has 40 EPL starts in two seasons.

I think they keep jackson and move him to mudryk’s wing spot with nkunku in the middle and palmer on the other side

Nkunku is the wildcard for next year. He’s better than Jackson.

the smoke about Osimhen to CFC probably coming from Osimhen's camp. Napoli wants 120mm for him and I dont think he is worth that.

Jackson, Nkunku, Palmer in front is plenty of firepower to start the season with to evaluate

More polished - yes.

Better, I hope so. Because if he is, then we are going to be tough to stop.

Mudryk kept his toes on the touchline. He drew a defender, and kept a centerback in position. That gave a lot of room for us to operate through the middle and right side.

Even out wide, he had the ability to create issues. Additionally, he isn’t just a speed merchant, as his passing improved throughout the season.

I like him there. Just my .02

On another note, the next great player coming up is Kendry Paez.

His highlight film as a 16 year old is in a class of its own. He will be the next biggest player in the world if he avoids injuries. Kendry had his first visit at Cobham today too. I think Caicedo probably showed him around London after.

He is going to be legit imho.

I think it’s a mistake. Should’ve given him next season.

All things considered, Poch had a solid first season and I was happy with the back end of the season.

I think this is a mistake too and will only lead to another building / figure it out season.

Wonder who the ownership has in mind?

I don’t get it either. Seems like everything was finally coming together after 1.5 years of crazy turnover. This will be the fourth head coach since Teuchel.

I hope not. Love TT for the trophies but I’d prefer a new voice. This damn league recycles coaches worse than any other league on earth.
