A healthy side should finish top 5 next season with a few key additions sprinkled in.

The melt for bringing back Lukaku would be insane.

That being said, he is a major upgrade for at least one season imho, he frees up major cash, and he loves playing for Poch.

We need to upgrade our keeper as well.

Otherwise, we roll with it.

The captain James with the game winning assist. Forgot how damn good he can be. Nice road win against a side desperate to stay up. Well done.

Poch did a good job of setting them up, and making tactical changes.

Grade A:
Caicedo
Palmer
Silva

Grade B:
Mudryk
James
Jackson
Sterling
Nkuku
Ptetrovich

Grade C:
Cuchy
Gusto
Gallagher
Badiashile
Chalobah

Grade D:
Madueke (he got owned today).

No way Lukaku comes back here. djordje is a good second keeper but not a front line guy- looks like we’re targeting Pickford.

If he does, and he refuses to play, then Chelsea can fine his arse into oblivion. That too, would be good for the books.

He also could ride the pine, become frustrated, and agree to a January sale where HE eats some cash. Again, another win for the books.

Lastly, what if he plays, and balls out?

The fans are fickle, and would suddenly remember that they love him.

We aren’t getting shot in return right now. I say force the issue. Just my .02.

The club doesn’t want him back. They’ll sell and take whatever they can get.

Blukaku would be terrible for a young club, he is the epitome of the cludhouse lawyer

Enzo gave an interview to argentina media about his injury and surgery

quote:

I spent eight months playing with pains and injections. I had to make the decision to have surgery, it was the best. I was hurting the team and I didn't want to expose myself," said the world champion, about all the problems brought to him by the inguinal hernia, which he was operated on April 25.

quote:

The decision was made by both of the player's coaches, both with Lionel Scaloni and Mauricio Pochettino together to be able to do the best possible rehabilitation and reach the Copa América 2024 with rhythm and without ailments.

For several days it can be seen in the Blues gym and also jogging on the side of the auxiliary playing field. Double and triple shift days to strengthen your physique. Although it ends up melted, the smile is still shining on his face. "I'm fine, people can stay calm. I evolve day by day and I'm really looking forward to the Copa América," he confirmed.

Grabbing all 3 points will be a chore at Brighton today. Need to keep pace for potential Europe football next season.

2 huge blown calls there. Yikes, but what’s the point of the league wanting Brighton to win this?
