If they wanted him to be the nominee, all they have to do is stand back and let the primary play out. These unhinged loons are constitutionally-incapable of ignoring the man.

I think they're going demonize him, indict him, indict him, indict him, indict him, and then I think they'll blow his airplane up. I really at a gut level think they're gonna kill Trump.

Trumps pilots must be really nervous.

That is one impressive word salad.

Trump was performing poorly in many polls before Bragg.

The Bragg indictment SKYROCKETED his numbers and he hasn't looked back since. The DOJ gave him a nice little bump too.

This board always talks about how smart at playing the system "they" are. Again...if numbskulls can see how the indictments lit a fire under his numbers, do you think they can't see it?

Jack Smith is like free campaign money for Trump.

Before they weaponized the justice system against him, I had what most would consider a medium-strong support level for him.

Every time they do this it makes me want to support him more. What the DOJ is doing is wrong, it's corrupt, it's contemptable, and electing him would be the FU they deserve.

DeSantis was ahead in some polls and neck/neck in others before the indictments started rolling in.

How many times in these threads have we seen Trumpers celebrating how "he just gets stronger!" with each indictment?

This is true, but it's not necessarily inconsistent with preferring to see him rather than RDS in the general.

Maybe they will indict him for leaving the leftover cocaine he sniffed off Stormy Danials' arse in that locker.

You're new here, OFD. I'm at the top tier for TD "word salad" posters. I don't even get the tldr thing anymore.

Its just an extension of what they did to him while President and during 2020.

They know he is not an experienced politician. They impeached and investigated every sloppy thing and it constantly kept him on the defensive, while his base became more and more rabid. That rabid base caused an inverse reaction from the other side, and turned the middle weary of his antics.

That's all they are doing here: Make his base even more resolved so he gets the nomination, but he's absolute poison in the General.

It'll work even better if he's going against Gavin.

Surely none of what’s happened/happening to Trump could be because of his own conduct.

I have to admit, the "doing it for our country" bit, similar to "I'm in the way" is extremely effective and gets the base fired up. It is one of the better bits of nonsense spin Trump has done.

I've wondered the same. Either the most severe case of TDS ever or he is a paid propogandist for the left.

I remember her doing a whole bunch of interviews being giddy about recommending Trump for indictment and hanging out with prosecutors.

Gross oversimplification. I think there are two primary issues at hand:

1) If a Soros DA can indict Trump, they get huge liberal street cred/money for future political runs, plus the CNN job/book deal any time they want it.

2) The Feds legitimately want to put Trump in jail for the rest of his life. It's the only way they can give the ultimate insult to the MAGA brand without violence.

None of this is happening because of the primaries. It's simply because DJT isn't President, so he does not have any "protection." If he was President now, they would have pulled all of this crap in 2026, and if he wins again, they'll try to go after him again after '28.
