Fab is reporting it as a done deal.

Loads of potential, he is very talented. Physically, he is strong, fast, quick and agile...pretty much checks all the boxes. Sub 11 second 100m from what I have heard so he moves very well for someone at 6'2". He often used his pace to run into the wide areas for Atalanta so I like the potential interchange between him and Rashford/Garnacho coming off the left side. Having said that, he is a true target man and scored most of his goals from well within the penalty area but he does have a nice left foot from distance.
He is technically sound and skilled as well but his youth leads him to make many unforced errors because he has all the tools but has not grasped when and where to use them. Hopefully he matures and becomes more situationally aware so he can maximize his skills. He probably needs some work on right foot finishing as well.
I think we overpaid by a good bit when you look at just his production but you don't see young strikers with Hojlund's raw talent and skill go for cheap these days. He also wanted United badly so we will get someone eager to perform at the highest level.
