I got the amber alert late last night. Pulled up facebook and it was spreading like wild fire. I hope they find this perp asap and the baby is unharmed.

I can't think of a horrific enough style of execution for the worthless piece of shite who did that. I'm thinking William Wallace type of brutality.

Story definitely seems sketchy. I know it’s semantics, but I found it odd the mom kept calling her baby “the baby” in her Facebook posts.

Either someone knew these people and kidnapped “the baby” or the parents are up to something. It’s not like Dad was getting gas in an inner city and got hit by some homeless/punk/thug POS. It was in a small town neighborhood that wouldn’t have randoms walking around looking for anyone to leave their car running for literally “60 seconds.”

I don't have any reason not to believe them, but I thought the same thing. Initially I wondered if the FB page was fake.

Wouldn't surprise me if the real story ends up being something like the parents sold the baby and then reported her kidnapped to cover themselves.

Now comes the part where they hand this baby over to the state, where she MIGHT be lucky enough to have a nice family take her into foster care, only to be eventually handed back over to the birth mom when she "cleans her act up and gets a night shift at Dennys"

Good news! Hopefully our pessimistic opinions in this thread were completely wrong.

Agreed. Past news stories have made me very cynical about these sorts of situations. So glad to see the baby was found safe.

This was an update I needed to hear today... missing my adult kids, and stories like this get to me.

WAFF is notorious for having typos or mistakes in the stories they post on their website. If they have an online editor, that person needs to be fired.

Glad she was found ok.

According to Harlow’s aunt, the father had gone into the home for just a moment and, within those few seconds, someone got in and stole the vehicle with the baby inside.

Thank God! Parrish, AL is not too terribly far away from me, so this one sort of hit home. I can’t imagine the agony that family was going through last night.

I'm convinced editors no longer exist. All of the outlets are bad now.
