That's great news

Hope his car has been moved as well.

I'm so curious about the phone and the whole situation. Nosy Rosy here.

Thanks for the update baw Glad he is safe.

Question however - why did he get a room at a rather pricey Intercontinental yet sold his phone to some crackhead for pennies?

Not to pile on, but someone filing a missing person's report and trusting NOPD/JPSO/OPSO to follow up is gonna be waiting a long time.

horseshite. NOPD would take seven days to respond. JPSO would have seven officers working the case.

Happy ending in this situation or at least he's alive, depending on your view.

It looks like his car was ticketed today 7/10/23 on 300 CHARTRES ST for No Handicap Permit Displayed. Good luck with your search.

Thank you for this.

Quick update:

He says he left to detox from whatever he was on. He doesn't remember where he parked his car so you posting this gives us an idea of where it is.

I’m on the stolen phone train. Whether lifted from him sober, or inebriated it makes more sense than selling it

Though the intercon is probably $99 tonight

This is what I want to know.

He apparently spent $1,000 at a Foot Locker in New Orleans over the weekend as well.

Someone contacted one of my family members on Facebook and said they saw him stumbling around the French Quarter holding the dog on Friday. They said he was mumbling to himself.

Glad to hear it. Hopefully he can learn from this and get the help he needs. Nothing you can do to force them, has to come from within. Wishing y'all the best.

Very glad y’all found him.

Unfortunately, those who are addicted cause pain for others. There’s nothing you can do in most cases. So sad for those loved ones. I have no sympathy for the druggies.

So glad to hear he has been found alive and safe. I've been following this thread hoping for a good announcement. Having seen friends struggle with addiction, these situations are often sad later in life.
