The benefit is the Blue Boot Fishing Rodeo. It was started a few years ago by a friend of mine (and his wife) after his son drowned to raise awareness for children’s water safety. The founders are close to Gavin Dugas and he’s been very supportive of the cause. The rodeo is held at Bridge Side Marina just at the foot of the bridge when you enter Grand Isle.

Just read it is tomorrow and we are getting their Sunday. Wish the kids could have got their autographs.
