maternal GF 1924 (now 99)
Paternal was older then Maternal, but passed away in 1996 and not sure when he was born

my parents married at 19/20 and had me 2 years 12 days later at 21/22. they had their 50th anniversary last year

Only grandpa I ever knew. When he was 12 the family traveled by covered wagon from the Ozarks to land they homesteaded in Kansas.

I was born in 1987, not sure when my paternal grandpa was born, but it must have been the early to mid 1920s. We have pics of him from his army days on the beaches of France and as a cook at a pow camp. The first time I saw them I didn't recognize him. He was always the old man who loved playing with me and having me by his side, not the fit young man who looked like he could beat down anything that came at him, and did. God bless him and those that served with him
