No… No. I couldn’t live with myself. It’s never happened to me, but I’d be marching myself back inside to the same cashier, get the items paid for.
Some straight up trash in here.
Yep.
Now if I get home and find something extra it depends on how long it will take to drive back.

I feel so so so so sorry for them
Maybe cater to the people who pay your bills then have a stupid frick agenda.
Lay with dogs you get fleas.
They will get paid out on insurance. The jack up the cost on the goods next year to cover the premium increas and security measures to get said insurance.

One of life’s greatest little moments is getting to your car and realizing the cashier forgot to scan the items in the underneath part of the basket. So imagine how nice it would be if the entire basket of shite was free.
You’re trash and probably a poor

That’s what they get for not policing their stores. Stop letting people just walk out.

Back when I was in retail they said that 15-20% of the price were to cover potential theft.

Haven’t been in a Target in over 6 years. No care…

Don’t worry the statist corona mafia will hand them 2.1B for being team players with tuck-your-junk swimsuits and pride merchandise.

Explain to me how these places are still cheaper to shop at than neighborhood stores who don’t have those type of theft issues.

You know what's not being stolen?
I'll guarantee that tranny crap, especially the bathing suits made for young boys to hide their packages so they can convince others they are a girl.

Don't shop there. Problem solved.
You're missing the point. This isn't just a Target problem. It's a retail problem. Local law enforcement isn't arresting/prosecuting shoplifting like they used to. Shrinkage is a tax on all consumers because every retailer has to raise their prices to cover the cost.
As the owner of a small retail store, without a written confession, it is almost impossible for me to prosecute a shoplifter, counterfeiter, etc, etc. My costs go up, my customer's cost go up.

That loss has very little to do with theft. If you believe that, I got a bridge to sell ya….
Then educate us on what a billion dollars of losses comes from.

Have we become a nation of thieves?
We have become a nation of WOKE A-holes. Target deserves to go out of business. They have been anti "Christian Values" for years. They are getting their reward.
Supporting ANTIFA and BLM has consequences.

One good thing about shopping at smaller places and getting to know the employees is it builds trust both ways. I used to stop at a Shell a few days a week. Buy my gas there, get treats for the carpool kids, etc. One day their credit card machine was down. They just told me to pay next time. A few days later I remind them I owed for my purchases the other day and they were so thankful I remembered. I wonder how many trashy people took advantage of that.

I accidentally left a bar/restaurant without paying once. I was a regular so I went back the next day and took care of it. They waived the $10 penalty.

Shoplifting merchandise from Bay Area stores like Walgreens, CVS, Target
That article is incorrect. Not all Bay area counties are the same. Contra Costa County doesn't allow that shite, thus our Targets don't have everything behind glass.
