Great hire. Yeskie has roots all over the country. Great developer. Plenty of experience with LHP, which we will be rich in - and maybe make Cam Johnson think for a second about signing. He and Jay (and Wanaka) know each other very well, so nothing will be a surprise in the way they do things.

Yep. The fact that he’s been hand picked by Pat Casey, Jim Schlossnagle and Jay Johnson is all I need to know.
The objective truth is that Yeskie is regarded as one of the very best pitching coaches in the game

You’re the guy who thinks Dennis shaver should be in the special Olympics after 15 years of lsu men’s track being in the top 10
If you hate him I’ll safely assume he’s the real deal

He had no say in the matter short of resigning. I guess someone with your extraordinary moral character would quit because your superiors made a decision and instructed you to follow their orders

Also interesting that he’s choosing to rejoin Jay given the claims by some that “Jay is really hard to work for”
I guess good coaches don’t mind working for him since that looks to be all he hires

He probably makes more as a SEC assistant coach than most schools pay their head coach

JJ is the recruiter anyway. Yeskie can focus on coaching pitching

Jay wanted to let him get a feel for the SEC landscape and get some intel before getting him in the boat with him.

All that needs to be said really.
If you’re upset about the hire, it’s probably because you’re an idiot

It could be 1991 all over again but we’ll never see 5 in a decade again

Go back in your hole. Trust the process

We just won the Natty in the 2nd yr with a new coach and people on here are questioning the hire of a pitching coach that helped lead a team to a sub 2 era and a national championship a few years ago. LMAO.

You don't know what you are talking about. Must be a troll just trying to get reactions.

They fired Childress for a reason. Wasn't he the pitching guru @ aggies?

Hard to converse with some of these people. Glad some of the good posters like the hire. Jay knows him well and wants him.

Well, short term memory loss is abundant in BR. I remember all the Casey haters on here during the '17 MCWS.
