That's incredible. He'll be going into his 4th year as a 20 year old?

We are in as good of position as one could be losing 1.1 and 1.2 in the draft.

I didn't realize beloso could possibly come back. That would be wild.

This thread is going to make some rantard heads spin, and twist and turn things into whatever they want to believe. Beloso will not be back playing baseball at LSU next year.

I know. I am saying that I was surprised he may still have eligibility.

I've seen nothing that would indicate he's waiting a year. He's a redshirt freshman, so he's spent 2 years at JUCO already. With degree progress rules, draft eligibility stuff, and roster holes I don't see why we'd want to wait on getting him here.

After winning a championship, do the fringe guys make the move to the pros? That is going to be a big questions regarding the roster turnover, that will already be pretty large imo.

100% Gone

Crews
Skenes
Morgan
Floyd
Thompson

In the Air

Jobert
Travinski
Little

I am kind of leaning towards Jobert and Travinski leaving. Little would be a guy drafted solely on his arm. Though id love to have him back and them work with him another year.

Injured

Grant Taylor
Garrett Edwards

You are more watching these guys for their roster spots, though Taylor could have a similar recovery trajectory as Javen Coleman this year.

That’s the first I’ve heard of it as well but I found this buried in a recent article on the Blinn website about him being named an All American. This may have been the original plan but the numbers can dictate otherwise.

quote:

Reaves is committed to Louisiana State University but will return to Blinn for his sophomore season in 2024 before departing for Baton Rouge, La. That is good news for Hart and the Buccaneers, who will be eager to see what Reaves' encore performance has in store.

That’s why I asked, I heard that Blinn’s coaches have said he’s coming back to Blinn. I don’t have any other information.

Morgan and Thompson Will potentially be drafted 5th rd or later, where the slot is 500k or less. I don’t know if that means they are 100% gone or not.

They are gone. Morgan is going way higher than the 5th Rd. probably somewhere near the 1st 100 picks

I'll keep an eye out. He's playing in the Cape Cod League. It would be weird for him to stay at Blinn, but who knows.

Morgan and Thompson are 100% gone. No need to hold onto hope
