You all do realize that any and all classified military documents are maintained in a safe in a vault. There is a person that is over that vault that is responsible for them. So if they leave that vault they have to be signed out to that vault to a person with a clearance and need to know. Then if maintained or moved to another secure location that has to be annotated by the original vault. That person would be Milley. Milley would then have to sign them into the new location where they would have to be maintained and inventoried daily. Do you know how much shite Milley would be in if they were not maintained IAW military regulations where someone could physically see and inventory them daily?

I bet there are exceptions for the White House and anything the President wants.

Regardless, who would Milley be in trouble with? Who is his superior as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff? He answers directly to the Commander in Chief.

When it comes to military there are no exceptions. The person over the storage and inventory of those classified documents can actually refuse someone no matter of their rank. So let's say that person didn't and they recused themselves of being the one responsible and signed them out to Milley. Then Milley kept them out with out them being signed back into a vault before he went home for the day. Milley would have those documents signed out to him and they would have to remain in a secured transportation device aka a secured suit case that would have to remain with him constantly until returned to the vault. That is with any and all classified. It is not only inventoried daily. If their are multiple shifts it is inventoried at the end of each shift, witnessed and signed by both people. Then the safes are signed, timed and dated secure by both. Then the vault is signed, timed, dated and secured by both.

I'm pretty sure they'll make whatever exceptions the Commander in Chief tells them to make. That's what civilian control of the military means. Presidents take classified docs to the White House residence overnight all the time.

Milley would be in trouble with and prosecuted by a military court.

That's nonsense. If a murder suspect is caught on tape saying he murdered someone is that not evidence?

That would be a confession. Without a body or murder weapon, it is flimsy at best.

You are wrong about that. Only top secret documents are stored in a scif, and no one overseas checking those out.

Secret can be stored in a safe in an office.

I had secret documents in my office. When I got them out, they were in a folder. When transporting them. They stayed in the folder.

When reading them, you would close the blinds, put a secret sign on your door and close your door.

After I was done with them, they went back in the safe for storage. I had to log when I got the documents out of the safe.

We also had rooms with locks on them that you had to sign in and out of. They weren't as secure as the SCIFs. I could be in there by myself. There were computers in there that you could use classified data on.

Do you have any idea how many people walk into a police station and confess to things they didnt do?

Saying something and having the evidence to back that up, are in 2 separate lock boxes

Hillary Clinton tweeted a pic of her younger self claiming to be the future president. Did that happen?

The government has to produce the document. If they don't, then the recording has no value at trial and is just more Lawfare bullshite. You really don't understand this simple point?

Evidence in 1L year. It’s been the standard for decades upon decades. Your ignorance of that fact doesn’t change the facts.
