Baseball is a fickle game!

It’s a funny thing about baseball, it has a way of averaging things out. I remember earlier in the year when we were batting like .450 with runners in scoring position and our bullpen had like a 7+ ERA. I kept thinking our hitting is not that good and our pitching is not that bad. It all has a way of level setting itself. The baseball gods, law of averages, whatever you want to call it…. They are real. They giveth and they taketh away. The Tigers are not the team that played yesterday. The sample size tells us as much. We should all take a deep breath, enjoy the moment, and see what the BB Gods have in store for us today!

Its the only sport where outside the pitcher you literally fail 70% of the time and you're a HOF. Baseball is hard especially hitting. Just need to stay within the approach and stick to the teams plan and play clean defensively.

And law of averages said that FL was not going to keep stinking it up at the plate. And they sure turned it around on our depleted bullpen. Let’s hope it works for the Tigers today and they finally start hitting especially with RISP.
