My bro works at a big nation wide company. A dude he works with has a medical marijuana card, but for some reason he had to take a drug test. Either random or got hurt at work, but he failed it for weed, and they fired him immediately on the spot. Bro said not soon after someone from corporate heard about it and told them that they had to immediately hire him back, since he had a medical card. Guess it was a lawsuit waiting to happen, and wish that dude would have taken it up with the company.

People that smoke pot and don't know how to pass a drug test are absolutely retarded.

I know fortune 500 execs, federal contractors, doctors, military officers, and people high up in government that all smoke pot and pass all of their drug tests because they all know how to beat the game.

Our company wouldn't even make allowance for over the counter nutritional supplements containing hemp products, although they conceded that some hemp products did have nutritional benefits. As I recall, we had to sign a paper agreeing not to use any such products (and basically told we would be terminated if we didn't sign it). We were also warned not to eat food products containing poppy seeds.

Anyone have a medical marijuana card and have had to provide a random drug screen for their company? What was the result?
My illnesses and resulting disability are well documented both here and my actual medical records as well as my use of medpot and yet I would not be using if I was still working.

I missed out on a dream job b/c I wouldn't take the jab.

I passed on another great job b/c they did random MJ tests and I told them that I don't drink but I do use MJ responsibly.

It's still a worker's job market out there. You should be able to find a company that is cool with you using a superior alternative to alcohol.

Last place I’d come for advice on this is here. Half these dudes wear nut hugger shorts and drink natural light and think everything is trashy.

We don't know what your company's policy is. Some might not care and only be concerned with heavier drugs. Some might not care but are contractors for organizations that do. Some might just care. You have more insight into this than we do.
