Democrat, Lincoln, and Bross are all closed as access to them lies on private land (ultimately a liability issue). Haven't done Sherman yet, but its considered one of the "easier" 14ers in the state.

You might consider Bierstadt - the trailhead is at the top of Guanella Pass which is about an hour from Breck. Bierstadt is one of the easier 14ers by 14ers standards.

You are right. I'm seeing there's another 14'er Mt Cameron on the same route as Mt Lincoln that is still open / accessible. That one seems like it could be an option.

I'll check out Bierstadt too.

Im pretty sure only Bross has the private land issue. A family of geologists have the land and kept a bunch of samples in some shacks they had.

Their stuff got fricked with too much and closed access. You can still do the rest of the route, as far as I know

Sherman is easy, getting back to the OP. Park Co side is easier.
